Privacy policy

Colorado Kickboxing & MMA ("we") runs the website and member app at https://dev.coloradokickboxingmma.com. This policy says what personal information we collect, why, who sees it, and what you can change.

What we collect

  • Account and contact details: name, email, phone number and date of birth. For a child, the parent or guardian who manages their account.
  • Waivers: the waiver you sign, when you signed it and who signed it.
  • Training: your membership, class bookings, check-ins and private lessons.
  • Payments: your plan, what you paid and when. Card numbers go straight to our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store them.
  • Photos and video: only if you allow it on the waiver. You can change that answer at any time.
  • Messages: what you send us through the contact form.
  • Technical data: the cookies that keep you logged in, and the IP address of each request, used for security and abuse limits.

How we use it

  • To run your membership, bookings, private lessons and payments.
  • To send account emails: login links, password resets, booking notices, receipts and payment reminders.
  • To send text messages, only if you opted in (see below).
  • To send our newsletter, only if you signed up. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link.
  • To keep the gym, the site and your account safe.

We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use advertising trackers.

Text messages (SMS)

If you opt in, we text you account notices, such as payment reminders. Your consent covers the number you gave when you opted in; a new number needs a new opt-in.

  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to any message to stop texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us below.
  • You can also turn texts off in your account under Messages.
  • Opting in is never a condition of membership.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share phone numbers only with the provider that delivers our texts (Twilio), and only to deliver them.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that run part of the service for us, and only what they need to do it:

  • Cloudflare: hosting, email delivery and bot checks.
  • Stripe: card payments.
  • Twilio: text messages.
  • Resend: newsletter delivery.
  • Google or Apple: only if you choose to log in with them.

We may also share information when the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.

Children

Children train under a parent or guardian's account. The parent or guardian gives the child's details, signs the waiver and decides on photos and video. Children under 13 cannot make their own account. A parent or guardian can ask us to see, correct or delete their child's information.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to log you in and to protect our forms. We use no advertising or analytics cookies. Videos play from YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).

How long we keep it

We keep your information while you train with us. After that, we delete it or remove what identifies you, except signed waivers and payment records, which we keep as long as legal and tax rules require.

Your choices

  • See and correct your details in your account.
  • Turn emails and texts on or off in your account, reply STOP to a text, or use the unsubscribe link in an email.
  • Ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to delete it. We answer within 30 days.

Security

The site uses HTTPS only. Passwords are stored hashed, never as plain text. Card data never reaches our servers.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new date. If a change affects how we use information you already gave us, we tell members by email first.
